Magic Mountain Lodge - Lyngen is a hidden gem nestled in the enchanting town of Lyngseidet, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and offering the best possible chance to witness the mesmerizing northern lights from November to March. Henrika and Patrick, the warm and welcoming hosts, make you feel like part of their lovely family from the moment you arrive. We were greeted with a welcome drink and keys waiting for us, giving us a cozy home-away-from-home feeling. Our room was spacious, with a magnificent view of the fjord, providing a perfect backdrop for our holiday escape. The newly renovated bathrooms added a touch of luxury to our stay. The lodge offers a range of accommodation options, from private rooms to basic dormitories with shared facilities, ensuring everyone's needs are catered to. The shared kitchen facilities were a bonus for us, as we could prepare our own meals or mingle with other guests in the large dining room. The delicious home-cooked meals, including the rain deer stew and freshly caught Halibut, truly delighted our taste buds.If you're an outdoor enthusiast like us, you'll love the convenient access to activities like skiing, skitouring, and biking trails right from the lodge. For the ultimate relaxation, we indulged in the wooden fire sauna and enjoyed the exceptional views from the terrace. The social atmosphere in the restaurant/lounge area allowed us to connect with other travelers and share stories of our adventures.From the friendly staff always ready to assist to the array of activities available, Magic Mountain Lodge - Lyngen exceeded our expectations and provided a memorable holiday experience.
